How we verify listings
A directory is only as useful as its data is honest. This page says exactly where each fact comes from, what has and has not been checked, and how a company can correct its listing.
Where the data comes from
Every listing starts from public sources: the company's own website, its Companies House record, LinkedIn, and trade press. The current dataset of 66 companies was compiled in March 2026. Nothing on a profile is written by the company unless it has claimed the listing, and claimed edits are checked against the same sources before they go live.
September 2026 claims check
On 12 September 2026 every factual claim on every profile (project figures, named clients, accreditations, employee counts and revenue) was checked against the company's own website. Claims that did not appear on the company's site were removed from the profile rather than left standing. Founded years are checked separately against Companies House. Ten sites could not be read automatically and their claims remain marked as public data until checked by hand.
The two stamps
Public data, March 2026. The listing was compiled from public sources on that date and has not yet been independently re-checked. Most listings carry this stamp today.
Verified, with a month. We have re-checked, in that month, that the website is live and belongs to the company, that the Companies House record is active and matches the trading name, that the services listed appear on the company's own site, and that the founded date and any parent company are consistent with the public record. A Verified stamp expires after twelve months and reverts to the public data stamp until re-checked.
What we do not do
We do not rank companies. Lists are grouped by project size and then alphabetical. We do not accept payment for position. Featured listings are paid placements, are labelled as such, and sit in their own marked row rather than being mixed into the alphabetical list. We do not host reviews, because unverified reviews on B2B directories are worth less than none. We do not screenshot or copy imagery from company websites; the tile on each listing is a generated graphic in the company's brand colour until the company supplies its own.
Size bands and typical figures
The size band on each listing is assigned by us from the projects the company publishes, not by the company. The typical client size and budget shown alongside it are ranges for the band as a whole, to translate square feet into terms a buyer recognises; they are not claims about any individual firm's minimum or maximum.
Correcting a listing
Any company can claim its listing from a company email address, or anyone can report an error. Corrections are checked and applied within five working days, and the stamp is updated to show the check date.
